SHIPPING POLICY
*Due to strict export regulations, we currently only ship within Canada.*
Anticipated shipping of tubers will begin late April, temperature permitting. Tubers cannot survive freezing temperatures and therefore we cannot ship until it is safe to do so. Early shipping is not currently offered as a standard option, however may be considered if requested as an additional service.
All orders are currently shipped via Canada Post using flat rate shipping boxes. Shipments are insured up to $100 CAD for loss and are trackable. Shipping and handling of dahlia tubers for the 2026 growing season will be a flat rate of $25 plus HST for orders of eight or less tubers, and $30 plus HST for orders of more than eight tubers. *Please note that due to our combined shipping option, shipping fees may be adjusted after purchase to reflect the correct rate based on your total order. Shipping and handling covers postage, packaging materials, and order preparation. Buyer accepts the risk of lost, damaged, or delayed packages and will file their grievances directly with the carrier.Â
For the 2026 season, we will primarily ship with Canada Post. However, please note we may use an alternate carrier (FedEx, UPS, or Purolator) with equivalent tracking and insurance features where most efficient.
The Buyer is responsible for ensuring prompt pick up of their order if delivered to a Community or PO Box.Â
If you are local you may select farm pick up (Waterville, Nova Scotia), however all tubers will be pulled and packaged at the same time and may not be available any sooner than those being shipped. You will be notified in April, by email, of the two pick up date options.
Once an order has been placed, we cannot add or subtract any items. If you wish to add an item, please place a separate order.Â
