Bloomquist Jean... what an incredibly unique, beautiful, fun bloom. Often likened to the Lorax, that is exactly what it reminds me of! My favourite bloom stage is actually the bud right before it begins to really open. You can harvest these at a very early stage for excellent vase life. As it ages in the vase it takes on a more faded antiqued look. 

I've been growing this variety for a few years now, and finally this year I have enough tubers to offer for sale- while it is generous in blooms, it is very stingy with tuber production.
